Six years ago today I flew into the USA for the first time. I fell in love with Los Angeles and have been living here ever since. I photographed this view of the city from Runyon Canyon.
This photo was taken at Daikokuya in Little Tokyo. Home to some of LA’s best ramen!
This photograph was taken at the Flight Path Learning Center. If you’ve never been and you’re an aeronautics geek or a history buff, you should drop by. The center is located in the Imperial Terminal at LAX, it’s open Tuesday through Saturday and admission is free. The museum is packed to the brims with aviation artifacts from bygone eras. In addition to a multitude of models and photographs, also featured is a large collection of attendant uniforms from commercial airlines, many of which are now defunct. You can even climb aboard a DC-3 that was once used by 76 Gasoline as a corporate aircraft.
Good Luck Bar on Hillhurst Avenue & Hollywood Boulevard.
Summer solstice is here! June 21 marks the first day of summer. It’s also the longest day of the year, so make it a good one!
I took this photograph by the Santa Monica Pier on a busy beach day in 2009.
